Chevrolet launches Beat and Sail Manchester United limited editions in India
Football is the current flavour of the month and automobile brands are using this platform to bring in special edition models to lure buyers. General Motors India has launched the Chevrolet Beat and Sail hatchback Manchester United limited editions to celebrate the brand`s debut on Machester United`s home shirt. Chevrolet is the official automotive sponsor of the Manchester United club for the next seven years.
Both these models were showcased at the 2014 auto expo which was held at greater Noida earlier this year. These models have been designed by engineers at the General Motors Technical Centre, India. The limited edition models would come at a premium of Rs 69,000 over the outgoing models.
The special edition models are based on the LS variant of the outgoing model, and will be available in Super Red colour with petrol and diesel engine options. The Chevrolet Beat and Sail hatchback Manchester United limited editions will feature alloy wheels, roof rails, special seat covers, music system with blue tooth, illuminated sill plates, Manchester United decals and exclusive branding.
