Bringing in its range of new models for this year, BMW will be launching the new X1 SUV and 7-Series luxury sedan in our country at the forthcoming 2016 Auto Expo in a few days’ time. According to the company, the BMW X1 will come with ‘sturdy proportions, impressive versatility, and premium characteristics.’ The new 7-Series on the other hand will offer ‘unmatched luxury and technical innovation’, while being one of the best driver’s cars in its class.

The event will take place on 3rd February, followed by a press conference with Philipp Von Sahr, President of BMW Group India. Legendary Indian cricketer and a proud BMW owner himself, Sachin Tendulkar will be present when the cars are unveiled at the Auto Expo.

BMW is looking at gaining back some of its lost ground to chief rivals Mercedes-Benz and Audi this year. Other than the new X1 and 7-Series, the Bavarian car maker will also be showcasing the recently unveiled new 3-Series. Rest of the BMW models on display at the event will be the BMW i8, BMW Z4, BMW X6 M, BMW M6 Gran Coupe, BMW M4 Coupe, BMW X5, BMW X3, BMW 5-Series and the BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo. All the aforementioned models will surely act as good crowd pullers. Unfortunately, the upcoming 1-Series sedan will not be on display as it is still in its developmental stages. However, rival to the Mercedes-Benz CLA and Audi A3 is expected to be an impressive sedan.
