BMW to launch M3 and M4 on 26th November in India to take on the Audi RS5 and Mercedes C63 AMG
The BMW M3 and M4 will be powered by a 3 litre BMW M twin-turbo six-cylinder petrol motor that churns out 425bhp and 550Nm of torque.
BMW “M” stands for Motorsport and was created initially to enable BMW`s racing program which was quite successful during the 1960s and 1970s. The company has a couple of fantastic products lined up to be launched in India on the 26th of November namely the BMW M3 and M4. The sporty M3 and M4 cars will feature parallel engine power, and the two cars will be equipped with an efficient 3.0 litre six cylinder BMW M twin turbo petrol engine that produces 56kgm of torque and 425bhp of power. The BMW M3 and M4 will put down all that power through an efficient six- speed manual or 7-speed double clutch automatic gearbox. The German car maker is giving more emphasis to the seven speed dual clutch automatic gearbox, and has not yet assured certainty on the presence of a manual gearbox for Indian markets.
Ardent BMW fans can look forward to pleasurable moments with the M3 and M4 car. The cars are capable of doing a 0 to 100kph under 5 seconds, and the highest attainable speed is 250kph. BMW has achieved a supreme aerodynamic effect on both the M3 and M4, both the cars weigh below 1500kg due to the use of high tensile materials in combination with carbon fibre reinforced polymer. The weight reduction has not just made the cars lighter, but elevated mileage as well, an increase of 25%. The global unveiling of BMW M3 and M4 happened during the early periods of 2014. The two cars are designed on a common platform and carry a similar package and it is only the design that makes a difference, M4 sports a coupe identity and the M3 a sedan.
The competition levels in the Indian auto market have become insane in recent times, for two continuous years from December 2012 to April 2014, the Indian economy took a setback. Many established car companies struggled to attract buyers, because of inflation, increased fuel and commodity prices took the centre stage. The year 2014 is packed with an overload of launches, with products of all genres from small affordable cars to luxury brands.
We`re just a month away from the launch of the BMW M3 and M4 cars and their launch will only create sleepless nights for other luxury brands like Mercedes and Audi. The BMW M3 and M4 will compete with the likes of the Audi RS5 and Mercedes C63 AMG.
