Benelli Bikes to open shop on March 19th, finally!
Benelli, which has been brought to India by DSK Motowheels, will finally be available to the public by the 19th of March. The launch was delayed for many reasons, not once but twice. Benelli released a statement at the India Bike Week 2015, which was held in Goa, that they’d be open for business on the 19th of March (bookings start 10th March)
Currently Benelli has 5 bikes on its roster: TNT300, TNT600i, TNT 600GT, TNT 899 and the TNT 1130. Apart from this, Benelli plans to introduce at least 3 more bikes this year: the TNT25, the Blackster and the TREK 1130 Amazonas.
The TNT25 is identical to the TNT300, but has a single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. Single disc brakes provide the stopping power in the front and rear wheel. USD suspension does duty upfront, while Monoshock takes care of the back.
The TREK 1130 Amazonas is an animal. Its sports a 3-cylinder liquid cooled engine, and comes with Excel Takasago wheels with Metzeller tyres at the front and back.
The Blackster is a matt black 250cc, V twin. Telescopic suspension up front, and dual shocks at the back guarantee a good ride and disc brakes at both ends ensure a safe ride!
Here’s looking forward to some awesome bikes from this stable, watch this space for updates.
