Bajaj Pulsar Range Updated with BS-IV Compliance and Aesthetic Upgrades
The Pune based Indian Automaker Bajaj Auto, recently launched the updated versions of the Pulsar range including the Pulsar 135 LS, 150, 180 and 220. It was a silent launch without any bells and whistles, as Bajaj Auto is going to launch their new flagship – the Dominar 400 on 15th December,2016, and they don’t want the Pulsar range update to steal the attention from the Dominar 400.
The updates are mostly aesthetic which include new graphics, new single color paint-scheme and a new blue colored backlit speedometer console. Except for the Pulsar 150 all the Pulsars (135, 180, 220) are now BS-IV norms compliant. The updated Pulsar 135 LS gets a new single-piece seat unit unlike the two-piece seat unit in the older model and it also gets a new exhaust system. While the updated Pulsar 180 now gets rear-disc brakes as standard. Besides these there are no other significant changes in the Pulsar range.
The pricing of the updated Pulsar range is as follows, Pulsar 135 LS is priced at Rs 60,178, Pulsar 150 is priced at Rs 73,513, Pulsar 180 is priced at Rs 79,545 and Pulsar 220 is priced at Rs 91,201, all prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
Bajaj is all set to launch their latest flagship the Dominar 400 on December 15, while a smaller capacity version could also be added in the V-series (V-12) later this month.
