Audi RS7 facelift launching in India on May 11
After showcasing the model almost one year back, Audi, the German auto brand with the four rings emblem is all set to launch its RS7 facelift model along the Indian shores on May 11th, 2015. The German automaker has made subtle changes along its exterior and interior with no changes to its powertrain.
The sporty looking RS7 facelift will get a redesigned bumper along with a newly styled single-frame grille. To make the front more appealing, the company has also redesigned its LED headlamp and has given the option of Matrix LED units as seen on its A8 facelift model. The revised front bumper with sharper border and redesigned air inlets makes the overall front fascia eye-catching. At the rear, the RS7 facelift is adorned with new tail lamp clusters which display newly designed LED bands for the brake lights.
Inside the cabin, the noticeable changes come in the form of revised instrument panel, which offers new air-con controls along with the restyled paddle shifters and optional multi-media interface infotainment system with a new NVIDIA graphics processor. Under the hood, the car is powered by the same 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine churning out 552 bhp of power mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Audi Torsen known as the torque sensing four-wheel drive system helps in channelizing the power to all the four wheels.
Audi claims the RS7 facelift model can do a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 255 km/h. With the help of its dynamic package, its top speed can also be pumped up to 280 kph or 305 kph, which is for sure impressive.
The company has not yet disclosed the pricing of the facelifted model but we`re guessing it will be priced slightly higher than the outgoing model.
