2017 Honda CR-V spied
Recently, the 2017 Honda CR-V was spotted testing in the U.S. The SUV was heavily camouflaged giving away very little to the naked eye.
As per the spyshots of this fifth generation Honda CR-V, it’s quite evident that the vehicle gets swaying curvy lines across the sides and some sharp and edgy features all-over the body giving it a sharper look. The major upgrade is observed in the front portion which includes a completely revamped grille and headlamp arrangement, along with a bulky bumper at the front which gives the 2017 Honda CR-V a masculine look. Since the SUV was totally camouflaged nothing much can be said about the rear look of the vehicle. Although, the L-Shaped tail lamp setup that looked quite fascinating caught the eye.
We strongly believe that a 7-seater CR-V is also on the cards as seen in the spyshots. This means that the CR-V would have a pretty large side profile which would result in a longer wheelbase. Although the 7-seater version of the car would not be sold in the US, there is no news if Honda will bring this variant to the Indian market. Information on the engine options of the next-gen CR-V are scarce at the moment, but reports suggest that it will be powered by a turbocharged petrol and diesel engine. The Honda CR-V was a successful car in the Indian market initially but with the arrival of new players offering diesel powered SUVs, Honda has been struggling to sell the CR-V in decent numbers.
