Hyundai is one car maker which is always trying to make its cars look better and better. Its fluidic design language has been a huge hit with buyers, and it has brought many accolades and awards for the Korean maker. Now, the 2016 Hyundai Elantra has been officially teased by the company and looking at the sketch, one can say that the car just looks ravishing to look at. Sketched by Peter Schreyer, President and Chief Design Officer at Hyundai Motor Corporation, the new Elantra looks absolutely stunning. It features a new grille like the one seen on the Vision G concept, while its headlights have a swept back look.
The 2016 Hyundai Elantra looks more evolved than the current model and features a sloping coupe like roof line. The bonnet has two sharp lines running from the A pillar on both sides and there is a strong character line running across the entire shoulder line of the car till the rear taillights. More information is not available at the moment, but the D-segment vehicle is expected to be powered by a 1.6 litre motor that is capable of producing 175 HP coupled to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. It will be showcased at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show after which more details about its Indian launch will emerge.
