2015 Volkswagen Vento facelift launching on 23rd of June
The Volkswagen Vento facelift gets a host of new features and is more fuel efficient. These updates make the new Vento a compelling buy in the fiercely competitive C Segment.
Volkswagen India`s next product to hit the Indian car market will be the Vento facelift. VW dealers in the country have already started taking bookings for the sedan which will be launched on the 23rd of June. The 2015 Volkswagen Vento can be booked with a token amount of 25,000 INR at any of the company`s dealerships across the country.
The VW Vento facelift gets an array of new features and cosmetic updates to its exterior and interior. One major change is that the vehicle is now more fuel efficient and as claimed by the company all the three engines – 1.2 litre TSI, 1.6 litre (naturally aspirated) and 1.5 litre TDI are said to return 7.5% more mileage than before.
Coming to its exteriors the 2015 Volkswagen Vento facelift features a redesigned hood, three-slat chrome grille, new bumper with chrome strip, newly designed fog lamps along with some other minor changes. At the rear the updated Vento gets new taillights, bumper along with a chrome strip, chrome exhaust tip and lid. Since Indians love chrome Volkswagen has ensured that the car gets enough of bling to give it an upmarket look.
Feature wise the facelifted Vento gets some additional equipment in the form of cruise control, chilled glove box, electrically adjustable ORVMs with turn indicators, dead pedal for those long journeys etc. The Vento always had a classy looking cabin with top-notch materials and the same is retained on the upcoming model.
The cabin of the 2015 Vento Trendline and Comfortline features a new Cloud Titanschwarz colour scheme while the Highline variant gets Walnut Desert Beige colour interiors. When launched, it will rival the likes of the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and the Maruti Ciaz. Expect prices to be increased by a small margin for the updated model.
